SHIRT DECONSTRUCTION / 解构

Rooted in a second-year deconstruction experiment, this project started with 5 thrifted shirts sourced from Goodwill. Challenging the utilitarian convention of a basic shirt, I dissected collars, plackets, cuffs, and panels, reassembling them into a high-octane architectural set: a cropped top and a slit deconstructed skirt anchored by industrial harnesses.

The final visual campaign returns to the point of origin—shot inside the Goodwill retail aisles and storefront where the raw materials were found. By placing the deconstructed garment back into the thrift store environment, the work completes a conceptual loop of resourcefulness, spatial tension, and circular visual storytelling.
