Rooted in the floor. Built for the shift.
Emerging from the manufacturing floors of Xinji, my thesis collection translates the mechanical repetition and raw utility of family-run garment production into an industrial, raw, and workwear-inspired armor.
Translating the physical gestures, postural rhythms, and tool bearing utility of sewing operators into heavy-duty cargo architecture, this work reframes the factory floor not as a silent back-end, but as the primary site of conceptual origin. Protective, uncompromising, and functional to the core, the garments pay raw homage to the hands that build the industry—turning blue-collar mechanics into a medium of structural expression.
